2. What do you do?
We provide an easy, free, and friendly place to sell, buy, lend, borrow or exchange old books. If you have any books that you would like to sell, lend or exchange, you can list them in the Sell or Lend Books section. Alternatively, if you wish to buy, borrow, or exchange books, you can search the Buy or Borrow Books section.
3. Are there any hidden fees?
There are No hidden fees whatsoever. This site is 100% Free for everyone.
4. How do I arrange payment and delivery?
It is up to the Buyer and Seller of the book to arrange payment and delivery. We recommend that the you meet in an agreed place (college, shopping mall...) and make the transaction. This way the Buyer can inspect the book before buying and the Seller can receive cash payment in hand if required.
5. I can't find a book that I want?
Soon, we will be introducing a Message Board where it will be possible to put up messages for books that you cannot find on the site. This way sellers will be able to see your messages and contact you when they have your desired book.
6. Can I donate my book for free?
We encourage everyone to donate their old books for free. This way your book would have the best chance of being re-circulated thereby reducing waste and helping the environment. Furthermore, you would be helping the community by providing free books. Click here to donate your books for free.
7. Do you buy or sell books?
No, we do not buy or sell any books. BuySellOldBooks.com only provides a website for the people to buy or sell books.
8. What about privacy issues?
We are committed to providing a safe place for all users. We have strict privacy guidelines and will not disclose your personal information to anyone.
