Re: Vishu, what are your most popular books that sell the best? |

Re: Entertainment, Fiction-NonFiction & General Books Hi Dost,
Almost all kind of books are available in Daryaganj Book Bazaar & buyers of different interests keep on searching/buying them, one can say that even scrap books can be sold here & even rare books can be found there, but the kind of books in the great demand always are Educational Course books which unfortunatley i dont have. I have the books for common interest both Fiction & Non Fiction that includes Thrillers, Romance, Literature, Self Improvement, Health & various books on different subjects. However from the books i have, the following books can be sold like hot cakes.
1. Books of the current headlines/happenings
2. Books of famous Authors/Bestsellers
3. Books of specialized subjects
I am making a list of the books i have but being a part time book seller (book lover) i will take some time to do so.
I also have the thousands of books which are very cheaper in cost & i do sell them in
" Sale " just for Rs. 5/-, Rs. 10/- & Rs. 20/-. |

Re: it must be difficult to sort so many books! how do u tell if something is rare or not? |
|

Re: @ Vishu+ Hi Vishu, there are some books that I wish to sell either at the Sunday Bazaar or at Nai Sarak. These are academic books only. Can you tell me how I should evaluate these books in terms of MRP, edition, and condition of the book. Please give me some idea as to how I should determine a price for them so that I get a good deal when i actually go there to sell and so that I dont get fooled. |

Re: Rare Hi Priti,
As far as i can say Rare is what is not available at all or not available easily for a long time. There are certain fields wherein money is not the only price for books, this we get to know by the people who keep on searching the old, antique books like madz, i mean they don't get disappointed even if they don't find the books for a long long time, their search is tireless & impressive & profitable too if we have those Rare books. |

Re: To Sell your books Dear Friend,
Whenever it is about the old book, the buyer is the evaluator, however if these are the Academic books, Nai Sarak will be the better option. In case the books are in good condition/edition (course not changed) you can easily ask the half rate & hopefully you can have appx 35% of the MRP. In Daryaganj you wont get more than 25% of MRP that too not easily. |
