	Vikram Chandra Books: Award Winning Author Has anyone here read novels by Vikram Chandra? He is a award winning writer, and his most recent novel was Sacred Games. A book about Mumbai mafia, politics, religion, and caste. Sartaj Singh, a police detective is the main character who investigates crimes in the city. Apparently, the book explores taboo areas in Mumbai particularly the mafia.
