Hi Shruti,

I am not sure of any libraries around Dwarka, Delhi . But, it would be nice if somehow we can find out all the public and private libraries in India and post the list on the site. That way, people can find out the nearest library to their home and use it for recreational reading, and educational purposes.

What do you think of this idea?

Sounds like a good idea. I wonder if there is some government database that you can ask for that will show you all the public libraries in India?!

I agreed, I was having the membership of both the liabraries (British Council and American). Both are having excellent books, audio video helpings, beautiful sitting arrnagement and nice crowd.
Students will have to pay very nominal fee per annum and get the membership. Other than these two we have DPL (Delhi Public Liabrary), Near Old Delhi Railway station. Its huge and you will find some of the very old books there. Dont expect good sitting arrangements but books are wonderful.
One more is Hadayal Public Library in the same area also having good amount of books there.
In West Delhi, we have brach of DPL, in Patel Nagar, Near to Mothers pride. Small location but enough books.
End
